Nude eyeshadow palettes

Helloooo! I thought I'd do a post for you today on my Nude-y Eyeshadow palettes. I love them all and I really wanted to share them with you.

Jemma Kidd I-Ris Enhancers - 02 Green

- £22 -

This is a lovely palette! It has three colours of baked eyeshadows - one a light shimmery brown, another a darker less shimmery brown and also a dark purple (which remains unused!). I picked this up from TK-Maxx for £5, and there was only this one that is meant for green eyes, which I don't have (Mine are brown). I still bought it because I thought that at least the other two colours I would use. They are moderately pigmented, nothing over the top, but they are really beautiful colours!

Rimmel GlamEyes Quad Eye Shadow - 019 Sun Safari

- £6.99 -

I got this when I went to the clothes show a few months ago now. It was in a Rimmel goodie bag (The whole bag cost £5) so I got this for a good price, considering there was more than 5 items of a good value in the bag anyway. This palette has a really nice set of colours, my favourite being the top colour,  also the one at the top of the swatches. I find it is a lovely green-toned-brown and it works really well in a smokey eye. The two side colours can be a little red for my liking, but tey are all lovely and shimmery too.

Topshop Smokey Eye Palette - Golden Aura

- £12 -

This is my absolute favourite nude palette. As it is designed as a smokey eye palette, all of the colours tone together and really look beautiful in a smokey eye. They also work well as single eyeshadows, the third one along makes a great all-over base for the eye, and the gradual shimmer in all of them is really effective and looks great on. These shadows are all reasonably pigmented, and stay on all day with a good primer.

MUA Eyeshadow Palette - Undressed

- £4 -

I know, I know. Everyone seems to have this palette now, and I only recently jumped on the bandwagon and caved in. I am SO glad I did! At first I didn't really believe the MUA hype, because I thought that for £4, if the eyeshadows are sort-of good then you have got your moneys worth, I didn't realise that they were this good! They are massively, massively pigmented and I love them for it! There are some colours, obviously, that I don't like as might and that I won't use as much (such as the last blue shade), but there are some that I absolutely adore (such as the far left on the second row).
I also love how there is a mix of matte and shimmer shades, and the matte shades can double as eyebrow fillers!

What do you think of nude palettes? Do you think there are some awesome ones that I haven't included?

My Topshop makeup!

Hello chaps!

Over the times, I have built up a bit of a collection of Topshop makeup, and I thought I should do a post on them, as they really are fantastically in-expensive!
I really like their makeup, and at the moment I'm really getting into the lipstick. I want to try a lot more, such as their cream blushes and lip pencils.

The main problem I have with these products are the packaging - don't get me wrong it is beautiful but it gets SO DIRTY! I didn't get chance to clean these before I took swatch pictures but you can definitely tell the ones I have only recently bought!

- all of my topshop makeup minus the Louise Gray lipstick-

Cream Eye Shadows

-from left to right: Emerald City, Snow Storm, Heavy Metal, Velvet-

I have 4 of the Cream Eye Shadows, all of which I got in the sale when they were going out of season (for 50p each!) a few months ago so I don't know if you will be able to buy them now, but they are lovely, but massively sparkly.
-from left to right: Emerald City, Snow Storm, Heavy Metal, Velvet-

All of these colours are really beautiful and massively pigmented, you really don't need that much at all to cover your whole lid. My favourite is Heavy Metal as it is a really shiny grey colour, it is build-able and works great underneath other eyeshadows, especially in a smokey eye.
My least favourite is Velvet, as I find the purple colour quite hard to work with, but it is good as a colour pop.

Lipsticks

-from left to right: Infared and Whimsical-

I have three topshop lipsticks, two of which are the normal range, one of which is a limited edition Louise Gray lipstick. These two lipsticks are really good, they are creamy and go on a dream.

-Infared topshop lipstick-

This is my favourite Topshop lipstick. Infared is a deep coral, almost orange. It goes on well and covers my dry lips - they stay on a long time and I just love the colour. It is a colour pop, which is not unlike the Louise Gray lipstick. It is a lovely colour. For only £8, it is a great deal - I compare it to the quality of MAC lipsticks.

-Whimsical topshop lipstick-

This is a lovely nude. I really wanted to absolutely love this lipstick, but I find that I don't use it as much as I wanted to, because sometimes it can give me the death-look because it is so nude. There is a little but of pink in it which is lovely. It can be mixed with other colours, but I don't find it to be as moisturising as Infared.

-Mexican Wave topshop lipstick-

This is a niiiice lipstick! The colour is quite similar to that of Infared, and it is a colour that I wear a lot. You can build it up, and it also can be sheer if you only put it on very lightly. It is versatile but is less orange than the Infared. This was only £5 in the sale - you might still be able to get it too.

Eyeshadow

-Topshop eye colour in Good as Gold-

This was in the post-christmas sale for £3, but now I believe it might be only £1, as well as the deep pink colour. It is shimmery which is a lovely finish, it is overall a nice colour. I wouldn't recommend it as an all-over-lid colour, it is more of a tear duct sort of colour, but it is nice and can look really effective in a smokey eye.

Eye Crayon

-Topshop eye crayon in Tarnish-

This is probably my least favourite item of Topshop makeup, because I find on the waterline it smudges and doesn't create a neat line. It is a dark brown colour, and I have seen other colours of these crayons that might be much nicer. It has a slight shimmer and looks much better when blended out. I got this on a sale stand in topshop, it was only 50p.

OPI collection

Hey guys, I'm so sorry I haven't posted in a while! I actually did this post just before Christmas, but I never posted it. Kera-zee.
I'm so so exited, so I thought I'd give you a quick post about my collection of OPI nail varnishes. I absolutely love nail varnish, and my collection of OPI is ever growing!

Okay, so to start I have the OPI Top coat and Natural nail base coat. These are just standard, and my nail varnish does stay on longer, although I never see my nail polishes chip easily.

Then I have two crackle polishes. One was in a set (white shatter) and the other I picked up free from the Clothes Show (red shatter).

Moving on to colours, I have a beaaaautiful coral colour called 'Bright lights - big colour', I love this so much!

Then I have a purpley-browny-gray (good description there), called 'I brake for manicures'. I only got this recently as it was an early christmas present, but it is really lovely - especially for winter!

Then I have probably my favourite colour, called 'Mermaid's tears'. This is part of the pirates of the Caribbean set I think, but it is a light greeny blue colour, which is properly lovely.

I also have 'Sea you in hollywood' which is a shiny navy, but it's not sparkly.. it's more metallic. It's still such a lovely wintery colour.

Another really recent one I have acquired is 'Suzi takes the wheel', which is a great mushroom colour.

What sort of colours do you love? Do you have any OPI?
